NHP Connect (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a web design and digital marketing business based in Thornton, NSW, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to our website (nhpconnect.com.au), our services, and the NHP Connect client reporting app.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you contact us or use our website. Your name, business name, email, phone number, and anything you tell us in an enquiry form, email, call or message. Our website may also collect standard analytics information such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, using cookies and tools like Google Analytics.
When you become a client. Contact and billing details, information about your business, and access to the accounts we need to do the work you’ve engaged us for (for example your website, Google Ads, Meta Ads or Google Business Profile).
When you use the NHP Connect app. Your name, business name, email address and login details, plus advertising performance information from the Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts we manage for you (such as reach, clicks, leads, conversions, spend, campaign names and ad creatives). The app does not collect your contacts, location or any payment details. If you choose to send us job photos through the app, we store them so we can use them in your marketing. Customer details you enter into proposals are stored so we can generate and send those proposals for you.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver and support our services, show you your advertising results in the app, send invoices and service updates, improve our website and services, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information to advertise to you on behalf of anyone else.
Google and Meta data
The app retrieves advertising data through the Google Ads API and the Meta Marketing API. This data is used only to display reporting to the client the advertising account belongs to. Each client can only see their own accounts. We do not share this data with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. API credentials are stored securely on our servers and are never stored in the app itself.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information where needed to run our business and deliver services, including with:
- hosting, database and authentication providers (such as SiteGround and Supabase)
- advertising and analytics platforms (such as Google and Meta)
- email, accounting and business software providers
- professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (for example in the United States, Europe or Singapore). We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle information securely.
Security and retention
We protect personal information with measures including encrypted connections, password-protected systems, access controls, and restricting each client’s login to their own data. We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your app account and associated data. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
